Practice Info
Practices are not mandatory, but it is a great way for your swimmer to meet teammates and for coaches to evaluate the swimmers. If your child swims year-round, you are still welcome to practice with the summer team as your schedule allows.
Afternoon swim practice will start Monday, May 13, 2024. Morning practices will begin Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
Swim practice is a very important part of the Fieldstone Fins Swim program. At these practice sessions the coaches will be working with the swimmers on new skills and refining existing skills. For returning Fins or swimmers new to competition swimming, this is their opportunity to work on the proper stroke technique as well as starts and turns and hopefully learn to love a sport that can last a lifetime. Practice is also a great opportunity for your swimmer to interact with other swimmers and experience being part of a large team.

Practice Schedule
Afternoon Practice Times Starting 5/13
Monday- Thursday:
4:00-4:30 - 6&U and 7/8
4:30-5:15 -7/8
5:15-6:00 - 9/10
6:00-6:45- 11 and up
*There will be no dry land during afternoon practices.
**No practice on the last day of school: Thursday, May 23
Morning Practice Times Starting 5/28
Monday-Thursday:
7:30-9:00- 11 & up
9:00-10:00- 9/10 & advanced 7/8
10:00-11:00- 6&U and 7/8
*Dry land will be 30 minutes before or after times listed.
** No Practice Monday, May 27 to observe Memorial Day * *
***Please note that your swimmer may be moved up or down an age group to practice after the first week depending on ability.***
Mini Fins
Practices starting May 28th running for 4 weeks:
Monday - Thursday: 11:00-11:30
Please note: Non-Resident swimmers may only use the Fieldstone pool during practice hours. Siblings and family who are not a part of the team may not use the pool. If you are found in violation, the Fieldstone Rec Board reserves the right to remove the family from the Fieldstone Swim Team.
