The ASA Championship is almost here!

We want to share some reminders for the families that were not able to join Coach Asheley's meeting after practice today.  Please also check & see if you were assigned a volunteer job for the ASA meet.  If you are unable to do the assigned job, please contact us ASAP so we can fill the spot!

Top 10 Things to Know About ASA Championship
1. GaTech Aquatic Center: 750 Ferst Dr, Atlanta GA 30332

2. Heat Sheet Link-please print your own copy if you want one. They will not be sold at the meet.

3. Arrive and be checked-in Friday by 7:55am. We will be meeting in the grass in front of the main door (look for neon GREEN signs) and entering the building as a team. Volunteers should also check in upon arrival and get their armband that allow deck access. If you are running late, let us know! We have to make sure your swimmer is accounted for and escort you in when you arrive. Please allow plenty of time for traffic in Atlanta on a Friday morning! 

Swimmers are sitting in sections 101 & 102. All parents who are not volunteering must sit in the spectator seating area. There is not enough room for all parents to sit with swimmers. Swimmers must remain in the Fieldstone bullpen until they have completed all of their events.  (See the attached Seating Diagram)

4. We will be marking arms tomorrow (Thurs) after practice. Please try your best not to wash it off before Friday morning. On one arm we need EHLS and the 8u kids need to have a parent's phone number written in Sharpie on the opposite arm. On their back, we need their FIRST & LAST NAME, FFINS, and AGE for all ages. If you're able to have this already on your swimmer, it will save a LOT of time. Please help your child find their child's age group in the grass to wait. If they do not have their arms marked, a coach should be able to help them.
Please wear a FINS cap! Your blue personalized cap is best, but any FINS cap will do!

5. All relays will be in the BEGINNING! The heat sheet event numbers will appear out of order, but that is the order they will be swimming.

6. The boys will be swimming in the pool closest to the scoreboard and the girls will be swimming in the pool closest to the diving well. Please tell your children they are not to be using the diving well pool before or after their events. They are to find their parent volunteer and return upstairs to the Fins bullpen area unless they are swimming in a back to back event.

7. You can follow the meet on Meet Mobile app, not Swimtopia.

8. If your swimmer misses an event, let us know ASAP (phone numbers above) and we will do our best to get him in another heat.

9. If your child is not feeling well tomorrow or Friday morning, please text Asheley ASAP and let her know! Relays will have to be reorganized when swimmers aren't able to make it.

10. When your child has finished swimming their events, they may leave.  All swimmers 12 & under MUST have a parent check them out with a bullpen volunteer. 

6U swimmers will be done very early in the meet!   They will stay on deck from the time they go down for relays until they have finished their backstroke swims. Please pick up your child from the Fins bullpen at that time and make sure you check them out with a bullpen parent before you leave!
