As the weather is beginning to warm up, we're getting more and more excited about summer swim season! Please make sure to read the whole email for important info on dates, volunteering, and practice times!  Mark your calendars for the following dates:

Wed 4/23: Spirit Night - Village Italian (Mention Fins)
Wed 4/23: Swim Team Info Zoom (Includes info on volunteering)

Sun 5/4: Meet & Greet with Coaches and Merchandise Pickup. Kona Ice will be there too!
Mon 5/12: 1st Day of Afternoon Practice begins
Thurs 5/22: Last Day of School NO PRACTICE
Mon 5/26: Memorial Day, NO PRACTICE
Tues 5/27: Morning Practice begins
Tues 5/27: Mini Fins Practice begins
Thurs 5/29: Meet vs Longlake (Away)
Thurs 6/5: Meet vs Aberdeen (Home)
Thurs 6/12: Meet vs Lake Forest (Home)
Thurs 6/19: Meet vs Chattahoochee River Club (Away)
TUES 6/24: Meet vs Windermere (Home)
FRI 6/27: ASA County Meet @ Ga Tech

Practice Schedule (subject to slight changes)
Afternoon Pratices (5/12-5/21)
4:00 - 4:30pm 6 & Under
4:30 - 5:15pm 7/8
5:15 - 6:00pm 9/10
6:00 - 6:45pm 11 & up
* There will be no dryland during afternoon practices
** No practice the last day of school, 5/22

Morning Practice Schedule (beginning 5/27:
8:00 - 9:00am  11 & up (Dryland 7:30- 8:00)
9:00 - 10:00am 9/10 & Advanced 7/8 (Dryland 10:00 - 10:30)
10:00 - 11:00am  7/8 (Dryland 11:00 - 11:30)
10:00 - 10:45am 6 & Under (Dryland 10:45 - 11)
* Please note that your swimmer may be moved up or down an age group to practice after the first week depending on ability.*

Mini Fins:
Practices start Tuesday, 5/27 and run for about 5 weeks:
Mon - Thurs: 11:00 - 11:30am

At practices all you need to bring are goggles, a one piece swimsuit for girls, a jammer style suit for boys, a towel, and sunscreen. If you are still wanting to buy a team suit, you can purchase one through Reddiset here. If you want to purchase additional merchandise, it's available on this page.

Jaclyn Burks will be sending out another email regarding volunteering. We will open up volunteer sign ups 4/26 and her email and our website have a lot of info pertaining to each role. You can start looking at the descriptions for the jobs until then and see what fits you and your family best by looking at this link. We will also be hosting a Zoom meeting on Wednesday 4/23 so please hop on if you have any questions about volunteering (or swim team in general)! ZOOM LINK

*Please Note: Non-residents swimmers may only use the Fieldstone pool during practice hours. Siblings and family who are not a part of the team may not use the pool. If you are found in violation, the Fieldstone Rec Board reserves the right to remove the family from the Fieldstone Swim Team.
