Hey Fins Families!

We have a busy but fun week ahead!  Here is all the info you need for the meet on Tuesday 6/25 against Aberdeen Breakers.

THEME: Shark Week-show your FINS spirit!

PARKING-Their pool address is 4550 Westminster Lake, Suwanee, GA. The parking is very limited.  Please plan to park and walk with your items as there is way to "drop off" without blocking main roads.  They will have parking signs throughout the neighborhood so please follow any posted signs and please only park on one side of the street.  Parking is available on Westbury and Sutton Ln.  It will likely be a long walk so pack light this week!

ARRIVAL/WARM UPS- Our team will warmup from 4:30-5:00 pm. Please plan to arrive by 4:00pm to check in and be ready to warm up at 4:30pm. Aberdeen is about a 25 minute drive from Fieldstone.

BULLPENS-Our bullpen will be on a grassy area located outside the pool near the tennis courts.  Please pack bug spray!  Swimmers are not allowed on tennis courts!

MINI FINS-Mini Fins are invited to swim against the Aberdeen Little Waves at 5:10. Please plan to arrive by 5:00 if your Mini Fin plans to swim.

VOLUNTEERS- If you are volunteering for either shift during the meet, please check in at the volunteer tent upon arrival. It is very important that Jaclyn knows you are at the meet and can give you further instructions regarding your job during the meet. They use stopwatches for timing so we will have a timer and a recorder for each lane.  If you are timing during either shift, please plan to attend the timer, place judge, recorder meeting at 5:00pm.  We still have several bullpens that need volunteers this week.  We need all hands on deck for this last regular season meet so please sign up if you are available.

CONCESSIONS- Their concession stand takes Venmo, cash, and credit cards.  Cash is preferred. Chick Fil-A is a available by PRE-ORDER ONLY by Tuesday @9am using this link: https://square.link/u/FNx21K0F.  They will also have soda, hotdogs, nachos, popcorn, pizza, drinks, chips, and candy as well as Dippin' Dots!

WEATHER - The weather looks good but HOT for Tuesday. Please pack plenty of water/sports drink for your swimmers! We swim even if there's rain. We will only delay if there is thunder or lightning in the area. Should the weather get bad, we will clear the pool and if needed send families to their cars to ride out extreme weather if it looks like it will pass. Do not leave unless instructed to do so by your coach.

Timeline:

4:00pm: Arrive at meet. Report to bullpens & volunteer check in.

4:30-5:00pm: Warm Up

5:10pm: Mini Race

5:15pm: Senior Night for Coach Ethan & Aberdeen Seniors

5:30pm: Meet Start

Friday 6/28- ASA Championship Meet @ GA Tech (see email from earlier today if you are signed up for ASA Championship)-HEAT SHEETS should be available for ASA on Monday or Tuesday!
