Hey Fins!

We had a great meet last night and won 559-237 against Grand Cascades!  Our PR board had so many names on it and will be out at practice if anyone didn't get a chance to add their Personal Best time from yesterday's meet to the board.  We only have 2 weeks left in the season so let's finish strong FINS!  Here are a few reminders for the week ahead:

1. Today is the last day to declare for the ASA County Meet at GA Tech on Friday 6/28. It is a fun meet where we swim against most of the other swim teams in our county at a previous Olympic pool!  We need to know by today to make sure all swimmers are entered in time for the meet. Please declare "not attending" if your swimmer will not attend the meet.  We want to have as many swimmers as possible attend the meet.  This meet is included in your registration fees.

2.  Follow the same steps above to declare for the meet this coming Thursday 6/20 against Windermere.  This must be done by Sunday 6/14 at midnight.  Please sign up for available jobs as well especially if you have not fulfilled your required 6 volunteer shifts.  There are openings in the following bullpens: 6U Boys, 9/10 Boys and Girls, 11/12 Boys.  "Job Sign Up" is on the same page where you declare for meets.

3. Year round swimmers: Please send your USA Swimming Number as ASA County meet is a Georgia Observed Meet!

4. Younger sibling cannot be dropped off unsupervised during older siblings practice.  It has been brought to our attention that a few young siblings (waiting for later morning practice times) are being dropped off unattended and unsupervised while older siblings are practicing.  This should not be a regular occurrence and creates a safety issue for our team.  The coaches need to direct their attention to the swimmers who are practicing and cannot be expected to watch younger siblings who are not practicing.

5. Ribbon boxes are out at all practices.  Your ribbons should be in the slot BEHIND your name.  Please double check your ribbons and make sure they all belong to you.  While we cannot reprint missing ribbons, we can provide a handwritten ribbon if any are missing that you can't live without.  Please also double check all your belongings.  We have many reports of missing T-shirts so please check all shirts especially "Fieldstone" shirts.  We found a couple water bottles and items that were left behind.  They will be placed on a picnic table at practice Monday and then placed in Fieldstone pool lost and found.
