Grand Cascade Meet Info 6/13
Hey Fins Families!
Here is all the info you need for the meet on Thursday 6/13 against Grand Cascades.
THEME: WESTERN! YEE HAW!
PARKING-Their pool address is 199 Rivergate Dr., Suwanee, GA 30024. Here you can see visually where they are located in their community: https://gcswim.
ARRIVAL/WARM UPS- Our team will warmup from 4:30-5 pm. Please plan to arrive by 4:00pm to check in and be ready to warm up at 4:30. Grand Cascades is about a 30 minute drive from Fieldstone.
MINI FINS-Mini Fins are invited to swim against the Grand Cascade Ripples at 5:15. Please plan to arrive by 5:00 if your Mini Fin plans to swim.
VOLUNTEERS- If you are volunteering for either shift during the meet, please check in at the volunteer tent upon arrival. It is very important that Jaclyn knows you are at the meet and can give you further instructions regarding your job during the meet.
BULLPENS- Our bullpen/team areas will be on the grassy areas and parking lot (overflow as needed) on the deep end side of the pool. It may be a good idea to pack bug spray since we will be in grass. There are two entrances into the pool area from our bullpen. Keep in mind concessions and bathrooms are on the opposite side of where the bullpens are located. (See picture below)
CONCESSIONS- Their concession stand uses Venmo. There will be QR codes near the concession areas. They will also have limited cash. They will have pizza, chick-fil-a sandwiches, nuggets, chips, candy, drinks, and dippin' dots. Note: dippin' dots prefers cash.
WEATHER - We swim even if there's rain. We will only delay if there is thunder or lightning in the area. Should the weather get bad, we will clear the pool and if needed send families to their cars to ride out extreme weather if it looks like it will pass. Do not leave unless instructed to do so by your coach.
