Hey Fins Families,

MEET INFO:

We have our last home meet this week vs Chattahoochee River Club. It should be the largest meet of the season! It is also senior night so we will celebrate our 2 seniors before the meet!

THEME: Our theme for the week is FIESTA!  Let's Fiesta like theirs no manana!

PRE-MEET: Please plan to arrive by 3:40 unless you are a parking attendant or on set up crew (parking should arrive at 3:00 and set-up should arrive at 3:20). Upon arrival, please have your swimmers check into their bullpens. Please also check in at the volunteer table if you are volunteering at any point during the meet. We have moved the 13+ bullpen to the opposite side of the pool deck next to the slide. Please see the attached map for bullpen locations.

PARKING:The meet is at home at Fieldstone Pool: 3350 Elder Field Lane, Cumming, GA.  Our pool parking is large, however, any overflow parking should be along Elder Field Lane. Please do NOT park on Pond Gap Lane as it is a cul-de-sac and cars get stuck with a lot of traffic (it is the first street past the parking lot). We do try to have a one way traffic flow through the parking lot to help keep all cars on the same path. Even though our parking lot is large, we encourage carpooling if possible. We will have volunteers on the parking team helping direct you where to go. Most importantly, please do not park to the right of the clubhouse in the tennis parking lot and please do not park on the grass!

DURING THE MEET: Swimmers are to stay in their assigned bullpens throughout the meet. Swimmers and spectators are not allowed to use the quiet pool, baby pool, or zero entry pool during the meet. If the swimmer needs to leave the bullpen, they should be with a parent and the bullpen parent should be notified before leaving. This is for the safety of the swimmers and to ensure that swimmers are available for their scheduled races. Parents are not allowed behind the blocks. We will have coaches and deck managers available to make sure swimmers are lined up and ready for their races. Bullpen parents are to drop off the swimmers in the correct lane and step to the side of the blocks. The deck managers need room to ensure swimmers are lined up properly.

TIMELINE:

• 3:30 - Pool closes to residents
• 3:40 - Fieldstone Fins team to arrive and get settled in bullpens
• 4:00 - 4:30 Fieldstone warm ups
• 4:30 - 5:00 CRC warm ups
• 5:05 - Senior Recognition
• 5:10 - Timer/judges meeting
• 5:10 - Mini Fins swim
• 5:30 - Meet begins

VOLUNTEERS: If you are volunteering at this meet for any shift , please check in with Jaclyn at the volunteer tent when you arrive. She will have a tent set up inside the gate on the pool deck.

WHAT TO PACK: Please plan to pack snacks and plenty of water/drinks for your swimmer. It tends to be hot, and the meets are about 4 hours in length.

Also pack: swim caps, extra goggles, 2-3 towels, and activities to keep your child entertained. Please label all items! 

King of Pops will be available for purchase as well during the meet.

WEATHER: The weather is looking promising at this time. If we do encounter bad weather, we do not have indoor shelter for everyone. In case of severe weather, please wait in your cars. Please do not leave the meet unless you have received communication to do so from Coach Asheley or the Team Reps.

SWIMTOPIA APP/TIME DROPS APP: Please download the swimtopia app. The free version allows you to see your swimmers times. You can also upgrade and pay by the month to see live results and the score during each meet. Time Drops App is another option. The times are typically faster than swimtopia, but it doesn’t show the score. The code for time drops will be announced at the meet.

We will also be taking a team picture at 11am on Thursday. We would like as many swimmers as possible to attend so please plan to be at the pool at 10:45 in your team suit (or navy or black). The pictures will be taken by the quiet pool.
