Hello Fin Families! 

Meet #3 is tomorrow at Longlake!  There is a lot of information below for tomorrow's meet - please read!  We are excited and will see you at Longlake pool at 3:45pm.  We will be setting up bull pens and getting the swimmers situated and ready for warm ups at 4:30pm.

Pool Location:

LONGLAKE MARLINS

1405 Haddenham Dr, Cumming, GA 30041

Parking:

When arriving in Longlake, you will find our parking volunteers who will direct traffic. Our two main parking destinations are:

1. Alvecote Ct - first street after a right turn at the STOP sign - please park on the side of the street without the sidewalk.
2. Montcliff Dr - first street after a left turn at the STOP sign - for the purpose of the swim meet, this street is a ONE WAY street and we ask that you park on the side with the sidewalk. This street makes a loop and should accomodate most of our visitiors.

We have overflow parking on Laleiah Drive - second street after a right turn at the STOP sign - park on the side without the sidewalk after making a right turn only.

There is NO PARKING allowed in the tennis courts parking lot, on Haddenham Drive or after making a left turn on Laleiah Drive.

As much as possible, please consider carpooling, especially if you are inviting family members to come watch the kids compete.

(An FYI, we look forward to having a swim meet with a larger than average number of swimmers but this will likely be the largest meet our neighborhood has had in 7 or so years so please encourage your team members to follow our parking rules so we can keep the neighborhood residents satisfied with the swim meet parking situation.) 

Team Arrival and Warm ups:

Fins please arrive to Longlake at 3:45pm.  We will have warm ups at 4:30 and minis can swim at 5:15pm.

Officials Timers/Judges Meeting:

Contact has been made with our official and the Timers/Judges meeting will be at approximately 5:00

Team Bullpens:

Your bullpens will be located just beyond the pool in the grassy area between the pool and the lake. You are on the left side as you walk around the pool and down the hill. So from the parking lot take the sidewalk on the left side of the clubhouse to go to the bullpen. The entrance to the pool is on the back right side near the playground, this is easily accessible from the bullpen area. This bullpen space is shared by both teams so we won't have room to spread out much - take this into consideration when setting up.

 Bathrooms:

Located in bottom of clubhouse, take left doorway and go right down the hall. The rest of the indoor Clubhouse is closed for the meet and may not be used as a cross through

Concessions:

Concessions for our home meet this week will include pizza from Mangia, Chick-fil-A sandwiches, chips, candy, and drinks! Also, Kona Ice truck will be in the parking lot.

We can accept credit card or cash (Hopefully Venmo too)!
