Hello Mini Fin families - 

It was just brought to my attention that my update email this evening is confusing to the mini fin parents and YES it absolutely is confusing.  The information in that email solely pertains to the swimmers and families on the team, not mini fins.  If you have a swimmer on the team and one on minis, please use that information in relation to your team swimmers.  For mini fin parents - please read below:

Mini Fin Practice will start MAY 30th and run for 4 weeks.

11:00 - 11:30 Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday

** If a practice needs to be canceled, it could be made up on a Thursday **

Mini fins do not participate in meets like traditional swimmers.  At all of our home meets, mini fins will be given the opportunity to swim a lap with a coach before the meet starts.  There is no requirement for them to do this or to stay after they swim this lap.  Of course, you are always welcome to embrace the chaos of a meet :)  At the last home meet, we do encourage all mini fins to swim their lap and receive their medal of completion.  At some away meets, the opposing team may invite our minis to swim a lap before the meet starts.  I would send this out in an email so if you are interested, you could let me know.  

There is no volunteer requirement for mini fin parents either.
