Hi Fieldstone Fin Families! What a great first week of practice! It looks like everyone is doing well in the water. The board will try to send out a weekly update with any news so please keep an eye out for this update once a week so you don’t miss any important information. That being said – please continue reading!

Thank you for your patience with the volunteer sign ups. We are so sorry that we had some technical difficulties and some of you had your sign ups deleted and then had to re-sign up. This is our first year with this system and had no way to test it out before we went live. We apologize for the inconveniences. If you haven’t signed up yet or for all of your 6 shifts, please do so. If you are not signed up – we will sign you up. It takes everyone to make a meet run smoothly. Every job is important.

We appreciate everyone’s patience with the locked gates and bathrooms last week. Good news – the rec board is going to allow us to have the main gate and the pool gate unlocked during practice times.  Non-residents, you can come through the gates. However, the bathrooms will remain locked. If you are a resident – please bring your key card. If you are a non-resident, please have your child use the bathroom before you come to practice. But we know there will be a need to use it while you are here so, please ask a resident to let you into the bathrooms. We are sorry that this will still be an inconvenience, but this is the best we can do for now. 

The weather this past week was AMAZING! But, next week doesn’t look so great. We will communicate any cancellations via email and Facebook. Please watch your emails and check Facebook to see if practice has been canceled. We will generally swim in the rain unless it is heavy or there are storms.

Non -residents – You are welcome at our pool during your practice time only. Please understand that this pool area is for our residents and once your practice time is over, please vacate the pool deck.

Time Trials: Coach Jillian is planning to have time trials this Tuesday and Wednesday! It is important for your child to be at practice if possible. This is the only way she can get a beginning time for your child before meets begin.

Swimmer Pick Ups – We will have swimmer shirts, swag item, swim cap and bathing suit (if ordered) available for pick up at practice on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. If you cannot pick up at practice, please email Lisa at [email protected] to coordinate a different pick up.
